internship is finally over!!!! *jumps around* yesterday was my last day at the company, felt a little nostalgic as i cleared my desk of those waste paper that has accumulated since 3 months ago. The interns organised a company BBQ plus bowling event which was sponsored by our boss, and the people were damn good bowlers. most of them had strikes every few time, think they can really can form a professional team. it was really hilarious seeing them behave like kids at the bowling alley screaming and shouting. we were probably the loudest bunch of people there.
BBQ was not too bad, besides the fact that the food was too little and the table nxt to us had chefs bbqing crabs, prawns and tons of delicacies while we only had chicken wings and we were the ones bbqing ourselves. gosh, and i had to beg the manager for more beehoon. the chef made a lousy estimate by giving us so little food. lucky the food turned out to be relatively enough. The highlight of the day was that we each received a jacket from our boss from g2000 and our testimonials, i still couldn't believe that he was so nice as to give us a jacket each:) As much as I was happy to end work and to rest, I really felt sad as all my colleagues for the past 3 months came over to shake my hand and give me a pat on my back. To think I might probably see them again. They are really a bunch of fun and outgoing people, i think i've really changed my impression of foreign talent too. And to the interns (if any of you who are reading this), thanks so much for brightening up my days at work, haa, from the fun guess the country games on wikipedia, the lunch time that seemed to always feel so short, trips to the pantry to gorge on biscuits, as well as the watermelon dessert thingy that we shared, i'll miss you guys:) but the good thing is, we'll still see each other probably in school!
met up with the s13 people, haa, turned out attendance was only 8 ppl, haa, but had a yummy dinner and loads of crapping. and i finally got to see lianne after 2 yrs, omg, it was sooo long, but glad that all of us haven changed much. the guys, as usual, are suspiciously enthu about uni and orientation camps while i still dread the long semester that's coming up.

Back again after some time. Don’t really have the mood to update as I’m so tired after getting home every nite from the long ride from expo to Yio Chu Kang. Not to mention the days where I have tuition. But Tuition pays good money, at least better than my internship though. 16 more days to go, can’t believe I am counting down to the end of my internship, the end of 3 long months. I guess this holidays must have been the most meaningful one so far, with my fitness classes as well as learning lots of engineering terms and knowledge. I don’t really think that I could survive being a hardcore engineer, it’s just too boring and does not give me a sense of fulfillment or meaning. Perhaps I should go into sales, sigh, why are some ppl born as a music protegy or scientists? I don’t seem to see any of such traits in me. I can’t even think of any talent that I haveL
Had my dental appointment last week, and it hurts like hell. Crown lengthening, they termed it, which essentially means cutting through my gum and trimming the bone. Just the description made me sick and to think I had to endure through the 1.5 hr operation. Taking some time off work to go remove the stitches later. I hope it doesn’t hurtJ
Harry potter book arriving on the 12th, I really feel like taking off to stay at home just simply to read that book. But I must be mad to do that. So far so good, I haven’t taken alots of offdays, besides once when I was sick or went for my dental operation.
