A lazy Saturday

Jonathan, Zhi Kuang and me slept the whole of today away and decided to cook chilli crab for dinner. Haha, really miss the authentic chilli crab especially after today's yummy meal:)

It has been so long since I updated. Haha, haven't posted pictures on the hike to Lassen, San Diego and most importantly New York! Haha, I really like New York alot but trust me, it's a dirty place (unlike those clean and high rise buidlings you see on movies:)) So here's how my entire trip with Gwen and Yeeling went. Started off by taking the domestic flight myself to New York alone. It was certainly my first time flying alone and it didn't feel too bad. Camped at JFK airport to wait for Gwen for like 3 hours. haah, and we set off to the subway with our big luggages upon her arrival. We got lost several times and even got down at the wrong subway stop!!! Haha, our first stop was to the rush hour broadway office to buy tickets for broadway that night. Freaking long queue that I was in and managed to get tickets for Chicago for 60 USD (which is apparantly the half price for the actual show). Rushed back to the motel at chinatown to check in (it was damn cheap at 67 bucks per night) but the room was really small, haha, luckily there was only the 2 of us. Showered and proceeded to little italy for pasta dinner and set off for broadway. I loved broadway alot, with all the nice effects and singing and costumes:)
Next day, we woke up really early to go for the NBC tour. It was so fun as we got to tour a real news broadcasting station and see how everything is donw behind the scences. Now I know what goes on behind the camera! Proceeded to Soho (high class district) for some shopping as well as along Fifth avenues. New York is simply a shopping paradise that I think Gwen and I nearly went crazy going into all the various types of shop. Found the perfect souveneir for myself a posh shop called Saks on the fifth, which was a snow globe of New York city with all the buidings inside. We also went to the New York Public library which was really beautiful in decor. Ended the day going to Times Square to walk around in shops like the M&M shop, Hersheys chocalate shop and much more.

The third day started off with us taking the Staten Ferry around the Statue of Liberty. Amazing statue, just like how we see it in movies. We went onto the empire state buiding next followed by Wall Street, the former World trade Centre as well as the ever-famous central Park which is so pretty!! I want to go Central Park for a picinic again among the lush green fields. We also went to the museum of national history (which was the place where Night at the museum was filmed). Haha, Gwen and I had so much fun walking thru trying to idetify the scences from the movie. At night, we went to Penn station to meet Yeeling!

The next 2 days was spent travelling to Niagara falls (7hrs bus ride) as well as Thousands island. We took the Maid of the mist boat tour which brought us right smack to the middle of the waterfall which gave us a perfect view. Thousand Island was then a series of 1600 islands which rich people have houses on each individual islands. The most horrifying part of the trip had to be the tour guide as well as the hotel which we live at which air con was spoilt as well as had a faulty tap.

Finally on the last day, Gwen and I set off to Woodbury which was a premium outlet for some shpping. We bought loads of coach and katespade stuff, armani exchange, gap, guess, calvin klein which were all super cheap. haha, i think she blew alot of money there as we were hyperventilating when we saw the prices of coach stuff. We shopped till the extent of nearly missing my flight which was one whole nightmare but luckily, everything turned out great at the end and I arrived home safely in a piece.
